Overview
When Nick is fired from his high-powered investment firm at Christmastime, he takes a job at a Christmas tree lot. There, he meets Julie, an astronomy teacher who’s always looked to the stars for hope. As the Christmas spirit washes over him—and he begins falling for Julie—the once self-centered Nick discovers the joy of helping others.

Julie's reason for breaking off the budding relationship with Nick was so irrational and stupid it kind of ruined my feelings about the movie. Of course like all Hallmark movies they resolve the issue and all is well. But the breakup was so lame. Hallmark should be ashamed. I would have rated the movie a 7+ or a 7 but gave it a 7- because she "cut off her nose to spite her face" blaming him for something for which he was not responsible. Even an once of logic in her brain would have told her so.
